Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 2:06PM But, I am just in a cake mood! I found some beauties that look as sweet as I am sure they taste... although I can't vouch for it... I am not allowing myself to indulge in frosting and fondant...for now, I am leaving the pounds for the cake... ;) And, since you (most likely) will not rock an orange fluffy frock on your big day, why not adorn your cake table with all the colors and details you want to sport but aren't so socially acceptable...
I die over this cake. Seriously - Fashion, frosting, and a ruffle all rolled into one delicious dessert. It's like my dream...made real, right before my heavily mascara clad eyes.
Lord KNOWS I love a good cake, but why stop there? Why not have multiple cakes, cookies and desserts? I love "candy bars" which are growing in popularity for weddings and parties, but for a larger soiree, a whole dessert bar makes a stunning impression. And, you KNOW the way to a wedding guest's heart is through good food and great desserts... and of course, a few dances with the bride doesn't hurt either...

There were so many fabulous vendors there, and I was honored to be amongst them! A special thanks to Gil's Catering for throwing the event, and On Location Portraiture for the great pics! Florals from Bows & Arrows - this is the arrangement also featured in D Weddings. They are absolutely stunning. I am so honored to be able to work with them! We cannot wait to work with you and create a package just for you!
I had to of course bring our custom bike table! This time, I chose a sweet lemonade theme complete with glasses that said, "Marry" and "Me", yummy lemon cookies, lemon drops, lemon zest sticks, lemon wafers and OBVIOUSLY ... lemonade!

Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 9:59AM Here is my latest table design. What, I ask you, is not ridiculously swanky, very pretty about a poodle with a bling collar? NOTHING, nothing indeed. This is quite possibly one of my favorite table designs!
I wanted something very girly, in tonal pinks and grey. I also like to incorporate something unexpected and unique in my designs, hence the hot pink pig, frames and mirror on the wall ladder, and of course my live poodle! Who doesn't love a hot pink pig, pink antlers, and puppies?! I love a mix of edgy and pretty, so I incorporated metallic silver accessories, metallic leaves in the bouquet and jagged, textural touches with rock candy. My fabulous pink couch and arm chairs are from my dear friend, Michelle's, booth at Lula B's Antique Mall . I LOVE Lula B's!!
More pictures of the table details to come, where you can see a closer view of the custom charger plates, and place settings (Psst! They are pink lace chargers hand decoupaged and painted personally) I know, I know... so fabulous... or, really sweet... very posh? Why, yes, yes it is.

Check out my most adorable addition to the RSVP family, my custom made vintage bike table! I thought of this little idea one day, then my adorable husband made it a reality for me, now to share with you! More designs are in the works - I have it designed below to show you (BRIDES!) how to involve your hubby to be in more than just suit fittings for the big day! He and his boys can now have their very own table for all things guy: cigars, signature drinks, snacks, and of course - brewski's!
Don't worry ladies, one is being designed for you too in more feminine tones and fancy touches! I think it will make the MOST ADORABLE cake table (FABULOUS pictures to be had!) I also love the idea of doing a "coke float" area on the bike table. I LOVE the idea of having a "His and Hers" area as well... the possibilities are endless, but the bikes are not.... so, Rent Swanky Vintage Pieces today. We also take custom orders!
