I truly believe this was my year - my lucky year for amazing brides. I was blessed to be a part of multiple weddings with brides who were nothing short of amazing. Shelley is one such bride. Not only is she a "past bride" but one that I will now forever call a friend! She is absolutely gorgeous, inside and out! A beautiful Mississippi, Southern soul whom I just love! Josh, her lucky groom {and spitting image of a young George Clooney!}, is the epitome of gentleman AND comedian all rolled into one. They are fabulous together!

Shelley's dream wedding consisted of a Sunday morning ceremony, complete with a choir and church pews provided by Pews In The Garden; honoring her strong faith in God, followed by a delicious brunch. The wedding was held at Winfrey Point at White Rock Lake. The ceremony took place outside under two huge oak trees. Vintage picture frames hung from the branches, while Shelley & Josh stood under a sparkling crystal chandelier!  Live music from a local choir and special guitar playing from a close friend were the perfect touch. It would not have been complete with out gorgeous blooms from wonderful Nicole at The Wooly Thistle. Those flowers - perfection! Not only did she provide luscious blooms for the wedding party and reception tables, but completed two fireplace installations with succulents, logs, and air plants that were breath taking!

Shelley & Josh also wanted to incorporate their love of all things vintage, and thier favorite past time of going to old shops; so we included an eclective vignette of vintage settees, chairs, and suitcases from the fabulous Lisa at Period Charm Rentals. She also provided the aforementioned chandelier as well. Sigh.

To kick off the reception, guests were greeted by music from fabulous live band, Memphis Soul, while they brunched on the most delicious spread from Gil's: Traditional Sunday Brunch. Gil's provided it all - from home made french toast to mini burger sliders, there was something for everyone. And, if all THAT wasn't enough, Shelley & Josh had a fresh made miniature donut station from The Snack Box AND, a cupcake truck courtesy of Red Jett Sweets, as seen on Food Network and Cupcake Wars!!! Guests went wild. Duh... who am I kidding, so did I! All of that awesomeness is exactly what I would expect from a couple like Shelley & Josh - and precisely what they deserved on their special day. Thank you so much Daniel Davis Photography for capturing the beautiful images and allowing me to share!

xoxo
